A combination of poor planning and a change in todays forecast, saw me resorting to doing this very local walk.
A cold and frosty morning before the snow arrived in the afternoon.

A fine and frosty morning as I set off along the bridleway to Peel Tower

A few shots from the moorland around Peel Tower. Here, looking towards Bull Hill.
Winter Hill is out there somewhere but it's too misty to be seen
and finally looking south towards Manchester
