I need quite a bit of motivation to head out for a walk in the evening after work and the weather today provided it. It was a lovely evening following a warm day and yet despite the warmth there was great visibility with a gentle and cooling breeze to take in the views from the hills that I can see from the back windows of my home. The following day was the hottest one of the year so far, I'm glad I went up there this evening.
After parking in the lay-by on the B6214 I made my way up through Buckden Wood and onto the bridleway which I followed to Peel Tower. I then made my way across Harcles Hill and Holcombe Moor to the summit of Bull Hill. A quick descent was then done.
