Route description: Layby on Braithwaite to Buttermere road at Uzzicar Farm-Stoneycroft Gill-Sail Pass-Sail-Crag Hill-Grasmoor-Sand Hill-Hopegill Head-Grisedale Pike-Kinn-Braithwaite-Braithwaite Lodge-Layby on Braithwaite to Buttermere road at Uzzicar Farm

A walk round Coledale taking in Sail, Crag Hill, Grasmoor, Hopegill Head and Grisedale Pike.

Scar Crags to Causey Pike on the left from Sail. The weather was a bit iffy this morning when I set off but it soon showed signs of improvement. I parked in the lay-by near Uzzicar farm on the road through Newlands and set off up the mine road to Sail Pass then Sail.
