Route description: Layby on Braithwaite to Buttermere road south of Uzzicar Farm-Braithwaite Lodge-Braithwaite-Whinlatter Road-Kinn-Grisedale Pike-Hopegill Head-Sand Hill-Coledale Hause-Crag Hill-Sail-Scar Crags-Causey Pike-Stoneycroft Gill-Layby on Braithwaite to Buttermere road south of Uzzicar Farm

I started this walk from a layby on the Braithwaite-Buttermere road just south of Uzzicar Farm. I took the bridleway over to Braithwaite and then walked up the Whinlatter road to start the ascent of Grisedale Pike. From there I walked round visiting the summits of Grisedale Pike, Hopegill Head, Crag Hill, Sail, Scar Crags and Causey Pike. I then used the old mine track down Stoneycroft Gill for my descent.
