20th June to 1st July 2011 - Switzerland

Walk Details

Photos taken during a business trip to Switzerland. I flew into Geneva airport on Monday 20th June 2011 and stayed in Morges on the north shore of Lake Geneva. On Saturday 25th June 2011 I visited the nearby village of L'Isle and the surrounding countryside. On Sunday 26th June 2011 I visited the resort of Glacier 3000. I also made a trip on Friday 1st July 2011 to Lac Bleu before my flight back late in the afternoon.

"Le Puis". The superior source of La Venoge. The river was a dry valley above "Le Chauderon" and it's only in times of heavy rain and wet weather that the river comes out of this hole in the ground.

Sunday morning in Aigle train station on my trip to Glacier 3000. I'd caught the train in Morges and got off at Aigle. From here there would normally by another train to take me up to Les Diablerets but part of the line is under repair. So it was a bus from Aigle to Le Sepey and then a train up to Les Diablerets.
