20th June to 1st July 2011 - Switzerland
Photos taken during a business trip to Switzerland. I flew into Geneva airport on Monday 20th June 2011 and stayed in Morges on the north shore of Lake Geneva. On Saturday 25th June 2011 I visited the nearby village of L'Isle and the surrounding countryside. On Sunday 26th June 2011 I visited the resort of Glacier 3000. I also made a trip on Friday 1st July 2011 to Lac Bleu before my flight back late in the afternoon.

Pictures of the village of L'Isle. The river La Venoge (a tributary of the Rhone) runs through the village and has its source nearby.
Approaching "Le Chauderon"..
"Le Chauderon", the principle source of La Venoge. The geology in this area is limestone and the river rises out of the ground.
In the countryside above L'Isle....
"Le Puis". The superior source of La Venoge. The river was a dry valley above "Le Chauderon" and it's only in times of heavy rain and wet weather that the river comes out of this hole in the ground.
